Functions, program, user needs, site conditions, and climate responsive designs are understood to be pre-requisite factors that direct the course of design. In the world that is transitioning to digital design, we remain rooted to the idea of the hand drawing. A number of sketches and drawings are made studying the translation of the initial concept to the program. Each drawing is laboured over as an artist would over his every painting – carefully and with pleasure. It is a way of detailing the human endeavour with intervention. Every drawing is a physical expression of our imagination.

Like the making and fitting of the many parts in a machine, a plethora of small, seemingly insignificant elements fitted together bring out a sense of joinery – the details. These details are very intrinsic and designed to be crafted to perfection.
mocks & samples
The physicality of the design is tried and tested with mock-ups, sampling and stenciling. This elaborate, laborious yet refreshing and fool proof process helps to acquire complete clarity on all technical constraints and construction details.
