An informal playhouse for young adults to stay atop a tree on the millennium night of December 31st, 2000 and bring in the new year in a different way. Made from canvas, gunny bags, and eucalyptus tree logs, the tree house is perched as three boxes under the crown of a large rain tree with a toilet and public spaces that invite conversation, a drink and an enjoyable evening. This structure was temporary and was designed to be easily dismantled after its use.
